Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how PlaySunday LLC ("PlaySunday," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the PlaySunday app. It applies to Persons and Churches alike.

Account and profile information: your display name, and if you provide them, a profile photo, phone number, and general location (city/state or region).

Church information: if you create or manage a Church, information about that Church, including its name, address, timezone, staff, beliefs, and configuration you choose to provide.

Location information: PlaySunday distinguishes between your general location (city/region), which may be shown to Churches to support discovery, and your precise location (latitude/longitude), which is stored privately and is not shown to other users. A Church's location (its address) is information about the Church itself, not about any individual, and is treated as part of the Church's public profile.

Roles and preferences: the Roles, skill levels, worship style preferences, and opportunity/compensation preferences you choose to add to your profile.

Marketplace activity: information about Opportunities you post or apply to, Applications, Invitations, and Bookings, including related scheduling information.

Messages: the content of messages you send and receive through PlaySunday's messaging feature, and related metadata (such as when a message was sent and read).

Reports and blocks: information you submit when you report another user or conversation, and records of any blocks you apply.

Cancellation information: if you cancel a Booking, the reason and any explanation you provide.

Legal acceptance records: a record of which version of our Terms, Privacy Policy, and Community Standards you have accepted, and your 18+ attestation, along with the date accepted.

Support communications: information you provide when you contact us for support.

PlaySunday does not collect your date of birth. We do not use analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs, and we do not use advertising identifiers or third-party tracking technologies. We do not process payments and do not collect payment card or bank account information.

We use the information above to operate and provide PlaySunday's features, including account creation and authentication; support discovery and matching between Persons and Churches; deliver messages and notifications between users; investigate reports and enforce our Terms and Community Standards; provide customer support; maintain the security and integrity of the platform; and comply with legal obligations.

Persons and Churches see certain information about each other as part of using PlaySunday's marketplace features -- for example, a Church can see a Person's general profile and Roles when reviewing an Application, and a Person can see a Church's public profile and posted Opportunities. Your precise location is never shared with other users.

We use Supabase, our backend infrastructure and database provider, to store and process the information described in this Policy. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising purposes.

We may disclose information where required by law, to protect the rights, safety, or property of PlaySunday or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case this Policy would continue to apply to your information).

You can edit your profile information at any time; control your discoverability to Churches; block another user's messages and report a conversation or user; and delete your account.

You can delete your account (as a Person) from within the app, under Account Settings. When you delete your account: your authentication credentials are permanently deleted; your private profile and preference data (such as your Person profile, private location, and preferences) is deleted; and your account record is retained in an anonymized form (your display name is replaced and your account is marked deleted) so that historical records that reference it -- such as past Bookings, Applications, Invitations, messages, reports, cancellation records, and legal-acceptance records -- remain coherent and usable for legitimate platform, safety, dispute-resolution, and legal/compliance purposes.

If you manage a Church, deleting your Person account does not delete the Church. The Church's presence on PlaySunday continues; someone else with access will need to manage it going forward.

We do not currently apply a fixed retention period to the historical records described above; they are retained for as long as legitimately needed for the purposes described in this Policy.

PlaySunday is intended for use by adults 18 and older. We ask you to confirm you are at least 18 as part of using the app. This is a self-attestation only -- we do not collect your date of birth and do not otherwise verify your age.

We take reasonable measures designed to protect your information, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

PlaySunday is not directed to, and does not knowingly collect information from, anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has created an account, contact us at support@PlaySundayApp.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will require you to review and accept the updated Policy before continuing to use PlaySunday.
